Women in Mining

Founded in 2024, FemMining is the first NGO in Armenia dedicated to promoting women’s participation in mining, environmental protection, and natural resource management. The organization was born from a clear vision: that sectoral development must be not only technically sound, but also socially just, gender-inclusive, and community-driven.

FemMining brings together professionals, students, community leaders, and policymakers to create a platform where knowledge, experience, and innovation converge to shape a more inclusive and responsible industry culture. Through trainings, public dialogues, policy advocacy, and research initiatives, FemMining supports women’s professional growth and strengthens their role in shaping the future of extractive and environmental sectors.
